An Early Victorian Period Flame Mahogany Antique Bookcase

19th century
Description

An Early Victorian Period flame mahogany antique bookcase. The upper section has a stepped cornice and flame mahogany frieze above twin arched glazed doors with chamfered pilasters and enclosing four shelves, three of which are adjustable. The lower section has a beautifully figured mahogany top above two cushion moulded drawers and twin arched panelled doors in flame mahogany and again with chamfered pilasters. The whole supported on a mahogany veneered plinth. English circa 1850-1860

Dimensions: 86" high x 46" wide x 21" deep

Condition: This bookcase is in superb original condition, cleaned and waxed
