A Good Mahogany George III Period Antique Bureau

Description

A good mahogany George III Period antique bureau. Having a sloping mahogany top banded in rosewood and opening to reveal a charming burr oak and rosewood veneered fitted interior with pigeon holes, drawers and secret compartments. The front has an arrangement of two short and three long rectangular drawers retaining their original brass swan neck handles and escutcheons, with solid mahogany sides and supported on the original shaped ogee bracket feet. English circa 1780-1800

Dimensions: 48" wide x 22" deep x 43" high

Condition: This bureau is in superb original condition, a wonderful colour and patina
