Description

Lovely small late 17th, century oak paneled coffer with triple paneled front, paneled ends and back and plain lid. Still retains candlebox within. All in superb un-touched original condition except old replacement brass escutcheon. Original iron lock. Wonderful rich colour with great waxed patina. (it shines like glass). A sweet little coffer.
