Antique 18th Century Period Country Oak Dresser C1780

Antique 18TH Century Period Country Oak Dresser and dating from around the time of George 111 c 1780. Constructed from solid oak the rack has a cornice top above a deep frieze with moulded corners and column side supports. There are three original oak shelves with reeded fronts which all have original brass cup hooks ( which we have decided to leave as part of its original charm). It has its original oak plank backing boards. The base with original plank top with moulded edge above three central drawers all of which are pine and beech lined and with later Victorian brass handles. The drawers are flanked on either side by a plank panelled door with brass escutcheon and working key. Internally there is a single shelf. It is moulded to the base and is raised on bracket feet. The top separates from the base for ease of transporting.

This is an original 18TH Century Oak Dresser with original pattination and charm.

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
