A 19th Century French Ashford Slate 8 day Brocot escapement drum clock, circa 1880. Bell striking 8 day movement stamped RC for Richard and co. retailing in Paris and

London. The movement made ny Marti, Paris. The exposed Brocot escarpment clearly visible on the click face was patented in 1872 by Emilie Brocot. Strikes the hours and half hours on a bell. Serviced and guaranteed.
