Delightful little early 19th.c. bachelors chest of drawers c.1800. Unusual small size, just 31" wide. Lovely elm top of particularly good grain with an applied thumb moulded edge. Over three drawers of graduated depth. Oak drawer fronts with a scratch carved detail at the edge and good Georgian pattern brass swan neck handles with attractive pierced backplates. Raised on the original tall shaped bracket feet front and rear. Pine sides and drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition. Repairs to the top, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
