Very Pretty Solid 9ct Gold Ladies Vintage Watch by Garrard the Crown Jewellers C1968

This is an exceptional example of a ladies classic wristwatch made by the world renowned retailer Garrard, the Crown Jewellers.

It has a solid 9ct yellow gold case and a wonderful design tapering solid 9ct bracelet with a two position clasp, the case has been professionally cleaned and polished so is in superb condition.

The Swiss calibre 4122 manual wind movement is an absolute gem with 17 jewels, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of Swiss watchmaking.

The starburst dial is in superb condition and it has gilt hands and baton markers.

The measures 20mm in diameter excluding the winding crown.

It fits a maximum wrist size of up to 7.25 inches but this can be reduced by any competent jeweller.

As you would expect from Garrard the watch is fully marked on the dial and case which is fully hallmarked.

It comes complete with a presentation box.

The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.

The watch movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. the cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof pressure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.
