C19th French Painted Open Armchair

Description

Stylish C19th French painted open armchair of a well drawn design; the scrolled back with a shaped moulded top rail above the unusual interwoven lattice design back, with shaped arms terminating in acanthus carving on fluted, turned supports. The bow fronted shaped seat having a moulded edge and original cane work. The moulded seat frame raised on shapely sabre, fluted legs. Original pale green painted decoration, good original 'country house' condition.
