Antique Solid Silver Vesta Case

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine example of an antique Sterling Silver vesta case. It is engraved with a pretty leaf pattern with central cartouche engraved C.F.B from H.D.B. It has a loop for hanging on a chain and is gilt lined.

It is clearly hallmarked for William Hayes, Birmingham, 1907.

It is good quality and well made, weighing approximately 28g and measuring 5cm long x 4cm wide.

It is in excellent condition with a clear hallmark. There are no damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and minor signs of age but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
