Antique Biedermeier Mahogany Glazed Bookcase C1840

Superb Antique Biedermeier Mahogany Glazed Bookcase and dating from around 1840. Constructed from excellent quality mahogany as to be expected from Biedermeier it has an architectural style pediment top with flared cornice above an Inlaid panelled frieze. There are two glazed panelled doors set within a mahogany frame and with flamed mahogany panels to the base. The doors have a working key. Internally there are five fully adjustable shelves with green Baise lining. It is raised on a deep plinth base on bun feet.
