There is no other adjective to use to describe this cabinet than spectacular! This cabinet stands out above so many I have bought and sold over the last forty years and is genuinely my favourite. An unusual and beautifully balanced design crafted in very finely figured honduras mahogany and in exceptional condition! There are occasions when one has an item of stock that is tempting to keep and this is one but an essential of business is to turn over otherwise this cabinet would be tucked away safely!

The cabinet is fashioned in finely figured honduras mahogany and double arched panels are featured to the sides and front. The drawers are of very useful depth and have turned inset handles. Original lock, key and shoot bolts.

The timber is beautifully rich in colour and figuring and my picture sgenuinely do not do justice to this fact. Drawers slide smoothly on hidden bearer runners and all have well fitting glazed frame tops.

A cabinet built to house a collection of large tropical butterflies but one that will serve many collecting pursuits admirably.
