A quite beautiful and delicatley carved small scale 19th century Grand Tour Italian siena marble model reduction of a classical Roman Labrum or Tazza in the manner of the workshop of Benedetto Boschetti (Rome 1820 -1870). The interior bowl carved with exquisite flower heads and framed by a classic egg and dart edging. The elaborately carved ribbed exterior with foliate designs to each corner sits on a fluted spreading stem mounted on a marmo cipollino marino block base. Rome, circa 1850.
