This stunning wedding cake knife & fork set was made by the Atkins Brothers and is dated Sheffield 1897. Each with a fully hallmarked silver blade and fork, a hallmarked silver ferrule and a mother of pearl handle.
The serrated blade delicately engraved with foliate scrolls.
It is presented in its original case. With satin and velvet interior. The satin with the gilt retailer's marks
HA for the Atkins Brothers.
Sheffield Assay mark.
Lion passant.
Date letter"e" for 1897.
Knife Length: 23.5cm / 9.2 inches.
Fork length: 18.5cm / 7.2 inches.
Both handle and blade in very good condition.
Case hinge has been restored.
