Set of 6 Antique Brass Inlaid Mahogany Regency Dining Chairs

Description

Set of six original antique Regency mahogany dining chairs with brass inlay on the tops, dating from the 1820’s period. They are in excellent original condition with a good colour & patina. The top back rails have flame mahogany panels surrounded by the brass inlay & some fine carvings on the corners. The middle back rails have beautifully carved centre sections & these chairs have front sabre legs. These chairs are also free from repairs, so are structurally sound. The drop in seats have just been re-upholstered in a neutral fabric.

Depth – 21 inches, 54 cm

Height – 35 inches, 88 cm

Seat height – 18 inches, 46 cm
