This beautiful antique sarcophagus shaped jewellery / trinket box which is covered in embossed leather has an ornate brass handle, clasp to the front, protective corners and ball feet.

This fine quality French Louis XVI style box which dates from the 19th century is lined with red satin silk and is a good size for a dressing table.

A pretty box which looks beautiful on display and would make a very special gift.

Material: Leather. Satin silk lining. Brass fittings.

Width: 19.5 cm (7 3/4") approx.

Height: 9 cm (3 1/2") approx.

Internal dimensions: 17 x 15.5 x 5 cm.

Weight: 472 g.

Condition: Excellent used antique condition with some signs of light use and a wonderful patina in keeping with age. Brass has a natural patina and has not been cleaned. Please see pictures.
