This large antique French football statue which dates from c1880 is of an early Rugby Foot-Ball player running with the ball. This highly decorative figure which is made of cast metal has a polychrome finish and is mounted on the original wood base which has a painted marble effect and has a plaque to the front that reads Foot-Ball.

This large and impressive looking football figure which dates from before Rugby and Football were split into two different sports has great detail, looks fantastic on display and is a great item of sporting memorabilia that would make a super gift for a Rugby enthusiast.

Origin: France.

Material: Cast metal. Wood base.

Date: c1880.

Size: 45 cm (17 3/4") high approx. 26 cm (10") wide approx.
