Primitive Oak Tripod Table C.1800.

Description

Wonderful primitive character to this little Georgian period oak tripod table c.1800. Beautiful 24½" x 21" top made from a single oak board, note how the grain runs diagonally across the surface. On a very simple oak column with turned detail at the top and charming scratch carved device midway down. Raised on shaped tripod legs with original iron bracket below. Good condition, some obvious old marks and wear to the top but solid and stable with great colour and patina.
