The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. Limit is a company based in Oldham in the UK who imported Swiss movements from Thommen. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 50.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover. Inside the glass lens is in nice condition.
The signed white enamel dial has a couple of very small faint hairline cracks although only visible with a jewellers loupe. Note the special hour hand for half hunter watches, so that the hands can be distinguished between when the front cover is closed.
The watch has blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
