Victorian Leather Sofa

This Victorian leather club sofa was made circa 1860.

It is of a seductive serpentine shape with deep buttoning.

The finely carved legs to the front are of the elegant cabriole shape and are made of rosewood.

We have totally reupholstered this sofa and then recovered it in fine leather before dyeing it by hand to the wonderful wine colour. The leather has been finished using techniques that give it an aged look that would make you believe it has been on the sofa since it was first made.
