Antique silver Rotherhams pocket watch, 1907.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Rotherhams, London', and it is all protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch is a good size at 53.3mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1907 with a maker's mark for John Rotherham.

The case has a couple of surface “dings” and a mild bruise to the back. The engine turned detail has some wear from use but overall it is in nice condition for a 1900s piece.

The watch glass is in nice condition.

The signed dial has a very faint hairline crack between the sub seconds dial and the centre but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch has a pin set mechanism which adjusts the hands, gold hands and a blued steel sub seconds hand.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
