Victorian Solid Silver Cream Milk Jug

Description

A fine example of an antique Sterling Silver milk or cream jug with an elegant design with reeded border around the rim, ribbed base and circular foot. The jug is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 80g.

It is hallmarked for London, 1884. It is slightly rubbed but still distinguishable although the maker's mark is too worn.

It is in very good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint internal surface marks and a few light surface marks and minor dinks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
