A Walnut Late Victorian Period Antique Fire Surround.

Description

A walnut Late Victorian Period antique fire surround. The solid walnut top with a gadrooned and carved frieze above the central rectangular panelled section, having a finely carved coat of arms with a Latin inscription and cross keys motif. The central section flanked by turned and fluted column supports with a square block base. Stamped Milne & Son, Lancaster. English circa 1880-1900

Condition: This fire surround is in superb original condition, cleaned and waxed

Dimensions: 75" wide x 11" deep at the ends x 6" deep in centre x 58" high (insert 49" wide x 42" high)
