A Georgian Silver Mounted Port Noggin & Glass

A charming small decanter and port glass or noggin from the Georgian era. This delightful example has a slice cut bottle with an etched monogram to the front. The cork stopper is unmarked silver, has a chain finger loop and is engraved with 'Port'. The port glass has a conical shaped bowl, a multi layer collar and bladed knop. The rim and foot have matching notch cutting and the bowl is panelled and cut. A delightful and practical example of Georgian table ware. Dimensions below.
