Description

Gents 1960s Desotos chronograph wrist watch from Gigandet & Chopard who registered the brand name Desotos in 1952.

The watch has the original Valjoux 7730 (which was in production from 1966) which is working nicely.

The watch measures 37.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is rose gold plated and it is in good condition with just the odd minor mark. The screw-on case back is stainless steel... it states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in good condition.

The panda dial is in good original condition. Two subsidiary seconds dials, one for constant seconds and the other to record up to 45 minutes. Original hands and interesting chrono hand with red detail to the end.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
