Abacus Antiques has dated this Victorian Rosewood Footstool to the Victorian era.
A lovely antique rosewood stool. We date this stool to the second half of the 19th century.
The stool sits on four well carved cabriole legs.
It has been upholstered in a cream floral patterned material.
The stool has a height of 16" (41cm) with a width of 23" (59cm) and a depth of 19" (48cm).
There is a small amount of wear to the material from past use where it has frayed slightly and one of the legs has an old repair at the foot.
This remains a very stylish and elegant stool. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
