Sussex Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1920s.
Made from Walnut with excellent tight Burr Walnut. All the drawers run smoothly and fitted with original brass handles. The lockable (key present) flap open the reveal a leather writing surface, we have replaced the leather, also 4 drawers and pigeon holes. The carving around the base is crisp and well executed.
All in all a very good quality piece that having been re finished by us to a very high standard is in excellent condition for the home.
