Small Chiffonier Side Cabinet in Goncarlo Alvez C.1850.

Description

Unusual little mid 19th.c. chiffonier side cabinet in goncarlo alvez, a South American exotic hardwood with a similar appearance to rosewood c.1850. Just 36" wide with a long drawer over a two door cupboard fitted with a single shelf. Highly figured goncarlo alvez veneers across the top front and sides. Crossbanded edge moulding, shaped drawer front and pointed gothic arch panelled doors flanked with a raised moulding to the uprights. Shaped bracket feet front and rear, also veneered to match. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
