Regency Mahogany Overmantle Mirror C.1830.

Description

Handsome early 19th.c. mahogany overmatle mirror c.1830. Original 33" x 19½" mirror plate within a fine flame mahogany veneered frame. Unusual shaped pediment with turned roundels and an ogee cornice over half columns at the sides and the roundels repeated at each corner. Raised on small turned bun feet. Note how the veneers are arranged to make symmetrical pattern. Minor tarnish to the mirror, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
