Very Large Carved Walnut Overmantle Mirror C.1860.

Description

Very impressive mid 19th.c. walnut framed mirror c.1860. Standing seven feet tall, it would have originally have been intended as an overmantle in what must have been a very grand room. Ideal now a full length floor standing dressing mirror in a bedroom or dress shop perhaps. Superb walnut frame with beautiful floral carvings and fine gilded accent detail. Excellent condition, fitted with a new 48" x 71" mirror plate, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Original backboards.
