Antique Pierced Silver Posy Vase with Blue Glass Liner 1904

1900 - 1920
Description

This superb EDWARDIAN SILVER and GLASS VASE was made by the well-known silversmith William Comyns in 1904.

Standing on a raised stepped base, the body of the vase is made of a beautifully embossed silver lattice and rises to a pierced flared rim. To the centre is a blank cartouche. The Silver Vase is completed with the original blue glass insert making this a stunning piece.

This wonderful Vase is in excellent condition, is free from any added monograms or engravings and would look fabulous in any setting.

Condition:

Used / Excellent

There is no damage and no repairs.

Slight rock and some minor dinks to rim. – nothing much but mentioned for accuracy.

Dimensions:

Height – 4.5” (112mm) / Diameter – 2.0” (50mm)

Weight (Silver Only) – 46gm / 1.47ozt
