The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The watch measures 22mm wide excluding the crown and 32mm high excluding the lugs. Although originally designed to be worn by a man, it would suit a gent with a slimmer wrist. The case is 9 carat rose gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1948. The case is in good condition. The hinged case back has the initials REW and a date of 11.8.52.

The lens is in good condition... there is a mark showing at the top of the lens in the photos but it is not visible in real life.
The dial is signed with the name Paramount. The brand name Paramount was registered in 1929 by Leon Levy & Freres of Biel in Switzerland. The dial is in its original finish and it is in good condition with just light marking. Original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
