The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1880s.
The watch has an English key-wound movement signed Jolly Mansfield, which is working nicely. A vintage winding key is included. The movement is protected by an inner fitted cover.
The watch itself measures 52.8mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop.
H (Charles Harris, Norfolk Street, Coventry). The case has light surface marking from use and a mild bruise to the back although hardly noticeable but overall it is in nice condition for an 1880s piece.

The glass lens has a couple of tiny nibbles to the outer edge although hardly noticeable but overall it is in nice condition.
The enamel dial is in nice condition.
The watch has its original gold hands and blued steel sub seconds hand.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
