A French gilt brass mantel clock of slim proportions. A well cast case with detailing to the front, back and sides. A silvered dial with gilt foliate centre and blued steel 'moon' hands. An 8-day duration mechanism by Japay freres striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell. Circa 1890.
