A 1920s silver Waltham pocket watch & chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 610, which is working well. It is fully signed and the serial number 24040821 dates it back to 1921.

The watch measures 50.3mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1925, with a maker's mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and some wear to the engine turned detail on the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The watch glass is in nice condition.

The signed dial has a couple of very faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel Breguet style hands.

The watch comes on a silver paperclip chain with silver fob. The chain has Birmingham hallmarks for 1926 with the makers mark for William Walter Cashmore.

Each link on the chain has the lion passant silver mark.

The chain measures 28cm long including the T bar and clasp.

The chain and fob weigh 27.7 grams in total.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
