Description

Gents 1969 Certina New Art wristwatch.

The watch has an automatic movement, 25-61, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel with 14ct gold capping and it is in good condition with just light surface marks, nothing too detrimental at all. The case back has the New Art airplane logo and the serial number dates it back to 1969.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, centre seconds hand and an early form of quickset date where the hands are moved backwards and forwards repeatedly between 12 midnight and 11pm until the desired date is reached. There is a little marking to the dial.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
