Antique silver Waltham Bond Street pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed and it has the serial number 6,829995 which dates it back to 1895. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside for Birmingham 1895 together with a case maker’s mark of AB for Alfred Bedford, manager of Waltham, London. The case is in nice condition with just a small "ding" to the outer edge of the back although hardly noticeable.

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial looks good to the naked eye. If viewed closely, there are a couple of hairline cracks at 12 & 8 o'clock and some light age related discolouring.

The watch has its original gold hands and blued steel sub seconds hand.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
