Description

Antique 1909 silver Waltham pocket watch.

The watch has a key-wound movement which is working nicely. ( A winding key is included )The movement is the Sterling grade and the serial number 15426631 which tells us that it was made in 1906. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 53.7mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and has Birmingham hallmarks for 1909 with a maker’s mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company . The case has light surface marking and mild bruising to the back from use but overall it is in nice condition for an 1900s piece.

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The signed enamel dial has a very faint hairline crack between 7 & 8 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has gold hands and a blued steel sub seconds hand.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
