Antique Flemish Carved Oak Armoire C1900

A Superb Antique Flemish Carved Oak Armoire and dating from around 1900. Constructed from solid oak it has a large flared and moulded cornice top above stepped moulding and a carved canopied frieze. There are two full length doors with fielded panels and working key. Internally it is all hanging with brass rail. To each side and to the centre is an ebonised column with carved capital supports to the top and base. The base has two drawers both of which are oak lined with turned knob handles and with carved drawer fronts. It is raised on large bun feet joined by a shaped and moulded plinth base. This armoire is of excellent quality and completely dismantles for ease of transporting.

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
