The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
The tea bowl has a further gilded band running inside of dots sitting under a scalloped line and both bowl and saucer have a floral spray in the centre. Puce marks to both with pattern number 55, c.1790

The saucer measures 13.2cm (5 1/4") wide and 3cm (1 1/4") high. The bowl measures 8.3cm (3 1/4") and 5cm (2") high. Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and minimal surface wear. The bottom of the foot rims are mainly unglazed and the unglazed porcelain has yellowed in these places.
