Victorian Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawers

Description

A beautiful Victorian mahogany chest of drawers dating from the mid 19th Century. Excellent quality and very well made with a lovely rich patina and an attractive bow-front. It is set on turned feet and has its original turned knobs.

It is in good condition for its age. The drawers open well, having had their runners recently replaced or repaired, and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are the usual small signs of wear, some minor marks and some repairs to chips in the veneer around the drawers but nothing untoward or detrimental. They have been cleaned and gently waxed to retain their aged patina and display well.
