Large Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Bookcase

1900 - 1920
Description

A good quality antique Edwardian mahogany and inlaid bookcase with twin glazed doors dating from circa 1905. With astragal glazed doors enclosing 3 fully adjustable shelves it stands on shaped bracket feet. In beautifully figured mahogany with satinwood inlay with good colour and patina. A simple but elegant bookcase that would look stunning in a hall, study or living room.

Good colour and patina. Wear and marks commensurate with age. The shelves are bowed in the middle – they need replacing or strengthening in order to hold heavy books.
