Description

A 1920s Silver Limit pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. Limit is a company based in Oldham in the UK who imported Swiss movements from Thommen. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1925 with a maker's mark for Aaron Dennison of the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific manufacturer of cases for various watch makers. The case has a couple of "dings" to the back and minor surface marking but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s watch.

The glass lens is in good condition.

The signed white enamelled dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original gold coloured hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
