Pair of Small Oval 19th Century French Gilt Brass Cherub Wall Mirrors

Description

This stunning pair of 19th Century French gilt brass framed wall mirrors in the Neoclassical style feature nicely detailed cherubs with laurel wreath decoration and are fitted with the original bevelled oval mirrors which have just enough flecking / foxing to show their age.

The mirrors are a nice small size to fit in an alcove, cloakroom or to add to a collection of mirrors.

Frames are cast in heavy gilt brass.

Period: 19th Century.

Height: 30 cm (12 inches) approx.

Frame Width: 16.5 cm (6 1/2 inches) approx.

Weight: 1.5 Kg for the pair.

Condition: Very good used antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Frame has not been polished so has natural tarnishing and a nice patina. Some foxing and light fleck marks to mirror.
