Antique William IV Mahogany Writing Table

Description

Antique William IV mahogany writing table in good original condition & with a lot of character. It has a tooled leather writings surface & a polished back. The single drawer has fine dovetails, a lock & turned bun handles. It has interesting carved corner brackets under the top corners & sits on turned legs with brass cupped casters. I would date this desk to the 1830-40’s period.

Depth – 20 inches, 50 cm

Height – 28 inches, 71 cm

Knee height – 22 inches, 56 cm
