It stands on turned and reeded outswept legs.
The height of the seat can be adjusted by spinning it around and overall it can be adjusted about 4".
It is in good condition for its age. The upholstery is clean and free from any rips or major wear. The revolving mechanism runs smoothly with very minimal give side to side and when extended upwards the seat is very stable. The wood has developed a nice aged patina. It is free from any major damages and is overall a sturdy construction. There have been a few small repairs over the years and there are some signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It displays beautifully and is certainly a very usable piece.
