~~ Excellent condition ~~
A beautiful, Louis Japy, small clock set that will easily sit on a 5 1/2" mantle shelf.
The dial is particularly pretty, white enamel with delicately painted floral swags around the Arabic numerals and finely fretted gilt brass hands.

The back door of the clock is glazed to allow the movement to be seen and candelabra are modelled in the round; the set would display very well on a centre table.
The Louis Japy French movement is of the highest quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully serviced by our clockmaker. The Louis Japy mark is on the movement backplate. Pendulum and bell are replacements. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the movie below to hear the bell and watch the clock running!

Condition of the case is excellent with clean and bright finish and there are no losses. There is some very minor wear to the original gilding on the high spots and corners and the candelabra arms are very slightly distorted. The dial has some slight chipping around the right hand winding hole.

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
