Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The trunk is carved with a naturalistic fruit and leaf design on the front and a more geometric pattern on the sides and back
It has brass decoration on the top and front, with 2 locks and it has brass carrying handles
The interior has 2 candle boxes
This is an old piece with a pleasant look, it is in in good condition a few marks on the top, we have the original keys but one of the locks is very stiff and we have not been able to get it to work properly
The box measures 50’’ wide x 20” deep and stands 16’’ high
