Antique Mahogany Leather Top Pedestal Desk

1900 - 1920
Description

Large antique mahogany pedestal desk dating from around the 1920’s period & in excellent condition. It has a hand coloured tooled leather writing surface & a gadrooned edge. This is a well constructed & functional piece of furniture, with panelled sides & backs. The drawers are graduated in depth, with original brass handles & locks on the three top drawers. There is a useful double filing drawer on the right hand pedestal. It also has a generous kneehole space. This desk lifts apart into three sections for easy transportation.
