Small Chippendale style mahogany side cabinet by the acclaimed English cabinet makers Waring & Gillow c.1920. Just 24" wide. Solid mahogany top with a crisp moulded edge over three drawers of graduated depth and a two door cupboard with a single shelf. Symmetrically arranged flame mahogany veneers to the drawer and door fronts with Georgian pattern brass swan neck handles with pierced back plates. Canted corners with blind fretwork detail. Raised on bracket feet. Superior quality with solid mahogany sides and oak drawer linings. Stamped for Waring & Gillow on the top drawer front. An old water mark to the top, otherwise very good condition. Key supplied.
