Description

A high quality early example of a French carriage clock by noted maker Bolvillier of Paris. An enamel dial with fine 'moon' blued steel hands and signed beneath. A well cast case rococo style case with floral decorations and figures and animals. An 8-day duration mechanism with outside striking bell countwheel. Winding shutters to the rear door and signed to the mechanism backplate and numberd 330LM. A lever escapement. Circa 1840.
